How the Wedding Tuxedo Rental Process Works
1. Browse Styles (6 to 4 Months Before the Wedding)
Start exploring your options early. Visit our Plymouth shop or use our online tuxedo collection to browse designer tuxedos and suits by color, style, and designer. This is the time to get inspired, compare looks, and decide on a direction. Bring your partner along to make decisions together and consider how the groomsmen look will complement the bridesmaids.
2. Book Your Tuxedos and Get Fitted (3 to 4 Months Before)
Once you have chosen your style, come in to secure your order and get the groom fitted first. We take precise measurements and walk you through every detail: jacket style, lapel type, shirt collar, shoe style, and accessories. This is also when we begin coordinating with your groomsmen.
3. Groomsmen Measurements (2 to 3 Months Before)
All groomsmen need to be measured. Local members of the wedding party can come into our Plymouth shop. For out-of-town groomsmen, we provide measurement instructions or they can visit any formal wear shop in their area and send us the numbers. We handle all the coordination so you do not have to chase anyone down.
4. Pick Up and Final Try-On (1 to 2 Weeks Before)
Your tuxedos arrive ready to go. Everyone tries on their complete outfit in our shop. If anything needs a last-minute adjustment, our in-house tailors handle it on the spot. You leave knowing everything fits perfectly.
5. Return (The Day After the Wedding)

How far in advance should we book wedding tuxedos?
We recommend starting the process four to six months before your wedding. This gives you plenty of time to browse styles, get everyone measured, and ensure everything is ready well before the big day. For peak wedding season (May through October), booking early is especially important.
What if a groomsman lives out of state?
No problem at all. Out-of-town groomsmen can get measured at any formal wear or tailor shop near them. They just need to send us the measurements and we take care of everything else. We have coordinated wedding parties with members spread across the entire country.
Can we mix and match styles within the wedding party?
Absolutely. Many couples choose to have the groom in a slightly different style or color than the groomsmen to help him stand out. We can also coordinate different looks for the fathers or ushers while maintaining a cohesive overall appearance.
What is included in a wedding tuxedo rental?
A standard rental package includes the jacket, pants, shirt, vest or cummerbund, tie or bow tie, pocket square, shoes, and jewelry (cufflinks and studs). Everything you need for a complete, polished look is included.
Do you offer ring bearer sizes?
Yes. We carry sizes for boys as young as ring-bearer age all the way up to big and tall adult sizes. The little guys get the same designer quality and professional fitting as the rest of the wedding party.
What happens if something does not fit at pickup?
Our in-house tailors are available for last-minute adjustments. That is why we recommend picking up early, so there is time to ensure everything is perfect before the wedding day.
